Sorrels & Morris Named Project Excellence Award Winners

Andrew Sorrels & Tristan Morris

Congratulations to Andrew Sorrels (Springboro Intermediate) and Tristan Morris (Springboro High School) on being named as the 2023-2024 Area Progress Council's Project Excellence Teachers of the Year for Springboro Schools. The award seeks to recognize and honor excellent teachers within public schools in Warren County. Both Mr. Sorrels and Mr. Morris were honored at the Area Progress Council's banquet last evening.

"It is an honor to have Mr. Sorrels and Mr. Morris among Warren County’s top teachers recognized by the Area Progress Council’s Project Excellence,” said Superintendent Carrie Hester. “Each of them, in their own way, truly epitomize excellence in teaching."

This was the 37th year Area Progress Council’s Project Excellence Program identified, recognized, and rewarded public educators in Warren County, Ohio schools. During the Spring, community members in Springboro were given the opportunity to nominate educators in the district for the Project Excellence Award.

Thank you to the Springboro community for your nominations and identifying exceptional educators in Springboro Schools who demonstrate excellence in instruction. Andrew Sorrels and Tristan Morris are both great examples of innovative educators who have worked hard to pioneer a teaching method for their students.
